Hello All,
Long time no blog- Bristan and Cala are keeping us
VERY busy. Everything is going great. Our biggest update is that Cala is now
crawling. Which means Bristan is quickly learning that she crawls, takes
his toys and puts them in her mouth.
Overall he is adjusting well and still being an exceptional big brother. Much
like her big brother, Cala is now eating just about everything. She loves
Mommas milk the best but we have given her apples, bananas, chicken, pancakes, pork,
avocado, PB n J, cereal, tangerines, steak, blueberries… No teeth yet but if we grind it up
or make it small enough she eats it!
You’ll see from the pictures below
that we have had a fair amount of travel the last few months (Nashville, Las
Vegas and Los Angeles). The kids were real troopers and Bristan is quite the
experienced traveler now. He carries his own bag and lets the pilot know that
he is more than capable of flying the plane.
The holidays were great as well. Now that he is older, it is a lot of fun to see Bristan on Christmas morning. We certainly miss visiting with family on Christmas but it is really nice to stay home with the kids and
play all day.
Up next… Bristan starts soccer and Cala starts teething J
Hope you enjoy the pics!
Much Love.

A play date with a couple of big brothers being way too ruff.
A picture before bed time.
From our hotel room in Nashville, TN.
It rained most of our time there but we still had a blast!
Ryan met us in Nashville and him and I went to the Tennessee Titans football game vs the Raiders. We didn't take the kids because of the rain but we all met up afterward and got a bite to eat.
And then Ryan was the baby sitter while Nicky and I went out for a date in Nashville.
Cousin Alixx's wedding in Cordele, GA. Bristan had a blast on the dance floor.
Hanging out at the SEC championship game in Atlanta (Florida vs Alabama). Grandma Barbara (California) knitted Bristan a red hat with a "B" on the front so the Bama fans really thought he was one of them.
Top of Stone Mountain.
5 months!!!
Day out at the park.
My old car finally broke down and died- blown engine. This is my "new" car.
Finishing up decorating the Christmas tree.
The Christmas tree at Bristan's school.
Ruby Falls. If you are ever in Chattanooga, TN this is a MUST see attraction. A 165 foot waterfall inside a cave. There is an amazing light show (otherwise it would be pitch black).
Santa Clause was in the cave!
Trip to the Atl Aquarium.
Christmas morning!!!
Playing in the backyard with visiting friends.
Once my car got towed back to the house and before it headed to the junk year I let the kids try to demolish and tip it over.
This was the car Nicky and I went on our first date in so we took one last pic before it headed off to the junkyard.
New Years Night!!! The kids were at Grandma's so we got to go to a concert in downtown Atl.
6th months!!! Bristan decides what number he wants to wear.
Nicky decided it was time to get rid of and update our old fireplace mantel.
We'll see how this goes...
Weekend trip to Poppy and Nana's with the cousins.
Time to ride the side-by-side!
Boarding the plane headed to Las Vegas.
This is the only way to fly.
Hanging with Papa Ron. Bristan went to Papa and Nana's while Cala and I stayed in Las Vegas with Nicky. She was there for the annual educator training for the product line she works for (Surface).
Having a blast on the Las Vegas Strip.
Nicky was recognized for her 5 years of exception service with Surface.
Picture on the left is Bristan in Las Vegas at 6 months old.

Cala's first trip to the ocean. Not bad weather for January.
Bristan had an absolute blast with his cousins!
These are great pictures. Bristan was 6 months old in the top pic which is the same age of Cala in the lower pic.
This is such a great picture of Cala and Cruz.
Time to head home :(
We have have a picture of Bristan at the Hollywood sign when he was this age. Nicky really wanted to get a pic of Cala at the real Hollywood sign during our visit but we ran out of time. Anyway, we were able to get this picture at the airport.
7 months!
As you can see from the all the pics above she is mostly happy but... she lets us know when she when is not. It is VERY, VERY dramatic.
Bristan was so excited when he saw it snowing and he asked if it was Christmas. It was February 18th. We almost got enough snow for a snow angle on the deck. What a tease!
Same day. Food always makes everything better.
1st driving lesson from big brother.
