3 Months

Seems like every blog I have more and more pictures to put on it. Since Bristan was born I have taken around 700 pictures of him on JUST my phone. That doesn't include Joe's iPad or our big camera. Our little man is getting so big! He is now wearing around a size 6 months (what a fatso!). Bristan is chatting up a storm and getting stronger every day. He discovered his hands in the past month and is pretty obsessed with them now. Seems like he prefers his hands over his pacifier most of the time.We just love how much Bristan smiles! He is such a happy baby.

Bristan traveled really well out to Nevada. He slept the whole time on the plane on the way out and back. We had so much fun hanging out with our amazing family at Art and Barbs. Everyone enjoyed meeting the newest addition to the family. We miss all of them now that we are back in Georgia and we are looking forward to visiting everyone in California in December.

Since we have been back from Nevada we have attended Autumn's cheer competition (PHS got first place! yay!), I joined a group called Active Mamas (we meet up for play groups, hikes, swims, etc..), we went on a camping trip at Stone Mountain, Joe and I did a triathlon, and I got a job!!! We did really well in the triathlon and were able to cross the finish line with Bristan in the stroller. My new job is at a salon called Zonolite Hair Studio. My job couldn't be any more perfect!! It is only 3.5 miles from where we live, 1/2 mile from Joe's work, I start out as commission (65% commission, which is great!!) then can move to booth rent, I get make my own part time schedule, and I work with an amazing team. The owner, Monika, is so awesome!! She is thinking about bringing Surface (the product line I work for) into our salon. I was referred to Zonolite Hair Studio by a girl that I used to work with at Salon 716 in Gainesville. She referred me there because a friend of hers, Tara, used to work at Salon 716 then moved to Atlanta and started working at Zonolite. Tara and I have never met, but I felt like I already knew her. She just had a baby 7 weeks ago. We have already had a play date at the park. I love my job so much. It feels so nice to be out of the house and working a few times week. I am working around Joe's schedule so we do not have to send Bristan to day care.

October is going to be a busy month for us. I plan to take Bristan down to the Georgia National Fair in Perry. Then, we are having company the weekend of October 13th (my birthday weekend). Ryan will be flying out from California. Also, John (Ryan's brother), Anna, and their son's Grady and Hayes will be visiting from Charlotte. We can't wait to hang out with these guys! We always have so much fun together. The weekend of the 20th we will be attending my cousin Rebecca's wedding. Also, I will be doing hair for this event. I think this is going to be a fun wedding. Dress code: cowboy hats and boots.  Fun!!

Bristan gets to celebrate his first Halloween at the end of the month. I picked up his costume today....but I am not going to tell y'all what he is going to be. You will just have to read next months blog to find out! We'll have lots of fun pictures.

Fall is my favorite time of year and October is my favorite month. Looking forward to what the next month has in store for us!!
