4 to 5 months (California and Halloween)

Hello All,

Hope everything is well and you are enjoying the cooler weather. All is good with us in Atl. Work is good for both Nicky and I and the never ending list of home improvements (thanks Nicky) is continually growing with most stuff being put off. The kids are great! B is doing great at school and becoming more independent by the minute. Cala is getting chunky! Cala is in a bit of a "phase" right now, waking up more than usual at night but nothing too bad (thanks Nicky). She is also sitting up, still spitting up quite a bit (wait until you see the pic below!), and just like her big brother, always "talking". 

The majority of the pics below are from our trip to California where Cala got to meet a lot of family and friends. The trip was a blast! Nicky and I were able to go out for her birthday on Ventura Blvd, we spent a few days in Palm Springs and Autumn got to come out and visit too.

Halloween was a lot of fun as well. Nicky and I were a bit torn because we went to a wedding on Halloween night (no kids allowed) and weren't able to trick-or-treat with the kids. But we did have A LOT of fun at the wedding and the kids had plenty of fun trick-or-treating with Grandma.

Hello all!! Hope the Fall is treating you well. Cala is doing GREAT. She is still sleeping well, almost sitting up, smiling a lot and recently starting giggling. She still spits up a TON but other than stinky clothes and a lot of bib washing it doesn't seem to be causing any problems. We have had a fairly busy month with a visit from my sisters and Barb, we also did a triathlon, did some camping, and took a trip to the "famous" Perry National Fair. 

The visits with my sisters and Barb was great and Cala seemed to really enjoying meeting them. The girls had a fun day out with brunch and a trip to the mall. My sisters and Nicky also hiked up Stone Mountain. Bristan really enjoyed their company as well and kept them all busy with multiple tours of the yard and rooms of the house.  

Nicky wanted to do the same triathlon that she did when Bristan was 12 weeks old so she took me along and dragged me across the finish line. We had a lot fun and she continues to amaze me in so many ways. 

Bristan had a blast at the fair. Although he did get an upset stomach afterwords but I think that is part of the whole experience.  He is really enjoying his new school and has started taking Spanish. Next week is parent-teacher conference so stayed tuned... 

We have a trip to California coming up so Cala can meet the rest of the family. Keep us in your thoughts as we take the ever rambunctious Bristan and an infant on an airplane. Hope you enjoy the pics.
